Background
Michele received his degree in Chemistry from the University of Padova (Italy) in 2006. He later moved to the University of Valencia where he received a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. (2010). He spent 2 years as Marie Curie Fellow in the Bioelectronics Dept. at the Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne (France). In 2013 he rejoined the University of Valencia, first as a Juan de la Cierva Fellow and later as a Ramón y Cajal fellow.
Research interests
Background in organic LEDs (PhD). Michele worked on organic bioelectronics during his postdoc, gaining experience on sensors. He is an expert on vacuum processing of perovskite films and solar cells, and is now leading a research line on photodetectors.
