I trained as a biochemist at the Universitat de València where I also did my PhD working on epigenetics. I used yeast (from beer) to investigate enzymes that produce post-translational modifications in histones (a component of chromatin). After a postdoctoral stay at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver), I completed a master's degree in Bioinformatics, which allowed me to introduce data science in magnetic molecule research in my current work at ICMol.
