Background
She is working as Superior Researcher Technician at the Institute for Molecular Science (ICMol) in the University of Valencia since 2008. She developed her PhD thesis in Chemistry in the ICMol (2004-08). During nanomaterials as well as organization of biomolecules (i.e. ferritin) using the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique. In addition, she is an expert using the Layer By Layer (LBL) approximation for building multilayered functional structures.
Since 2009, and during six years, Dr. Soriano worked as a Research Technician in the Opto-electronic molecular devices group (ICMol), where she got an extensive experimental training in processing and characterizing techniques: i.e. molecular thermal evaporation, spin coating deposition, preparation of microelectronic devices based in 2D materials, among others.
Since 2015, Dr. Soriano is in charge of several techniques for deposition and characterization of 2D materials. In example, using Langmuir-Blodgett processes, X-ray diffraction and surface diffraction, atomic force microscopy, magnetics measurements contact angle, surface energy and profilometry measurements, along with several other techniques for studying molecules in the surface.
