Introduction module
The Introduction Module (MA1) will be delivered at the beginning of the first semester at each of the participating universities. Students will undertake this module at their respective home university. Please ask your local coordinator to know the schedule.
Intensive interuniversity course
The MA2, MA3, MA4, and MA5 modules will be delivered as intensive courses, each year hosted by one of the participating universities on a rotating basis. Students and professors from all the universities will attend these classes. The MA2 and MA3 modules will be delivered over 3 weeks of lectures and seminars. The M4 module will take place over 2 weeks in the second semester.
During a final week, the MA5 module will be organised as a school (European School on Advanced Materials, ESAM), dedicated to general and specialised lectures on the “state of the art” in Advanced Materials, along with oral presentations by students.
In general, the student will be responsible for funding their mobility. The universities may contribute if public aid is unavailable. Contributions will depend on their budgets and feasibility. They may cover some students' mobility expenses using their own funds.
Master’s Final Thesis
The Master’s Final Thesis/TFM (MA6) will be undertaken over both semesters, primarily at the student’s home university or at another institution or external company.
All courses and modules are given in persona and attendance is compulsory.
