On Thursday, October 3rd, the ICMol hosted a successful Innovation Breakfast in room 0.8, featuring Cruz Mendigutía, Principal VC at BeAble Capital. In her talk, titled "Science Equity: Investing in Science to Enable Technology Transfer", Mendigutía highlighted the vital role of R&D investment in driving technological transfer within the high-tech industrial sector.
The event was attended by researchers from the Institute of Molecular Science, students from the Universitat de València, staff from the Science Park, and members of the Technology Transfer and Innovation Service (UV), who gained valuable insights into BeAble Capital's pioneering approach in Spain to managing seed and early-stage capital funds.
